Our transit hikes are seasonal excursions to forest preserves, river trails, and other unique outdoor destinations. The trips are organized around existing public transit options, Metra, CTA, and Pace, showing how outdoor adventure is accessible to anyone without the hassle of driving or parking.

Meet at Davis CTA station at 11:15AM
Depart at 11:25AM on the 213 (Pace Bus)
Arrive to the Botanic Gardens around Noon
Be at the bus stop by 4:25PM
Back in Evanston around 5:00PM
You will have to purchase your own Garden Admission at the entry gate ($25 for adults, $17 for children 3-12) as well as a Bus Pass ($5 for the day, can be obtained at Davis CTA station Ventra machines or via Ventra mobile app).
